Sheyi Bankale speaker at Research and Debate Visual Culture class

Editor of UK "Next Level" magazine; Sheyi Bankale gave us a talk on Sculptural Photography today. He will be giving another "Lunchtime Lecture" at Central's Main Lecture Theatre 12:00 5th April.

François Willème (1830–1905) was a French artist (painter, sculptor and photographer) who developed and patented a process for producing portrait sculpture using synchronized photo projections to create photosculptures. Above is an illustration explaining the process (1897).

Ceramic colours

These ceramics based on the old style drink Stubbie have intensified bright colours. The message may have been lost as the subtle skate stencil designs did not show through. I may do another series.
